Welcome to Snug Planner ("Snug", "we", "us", or "our"). By using our web application at snugplanner.com, our Android and iOS mobile applications, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
To use Snug, you must create an account by providing your name, email address, and a password. You are responsible for:
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Parents or guardians may add children as family members under their supervision.
Snug allows you to create families and invite members. When you create content (tasks, appointments, projects, recipes, files, etc.) within a family, all members of that family can view and interact with that content.
As a family owner, you are responsible for managing invitations and membership. You can remove members from your family at any time.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of all content you create and files you upload in Snug. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your family members.
We do not access, review, or use your content for advertising or any purpose other than operating the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any files or content you add to the Service.
If you choose to connect Google Calendar to Snug:
Snug requires an active subscription after the free trial period.
New families receive a 3-month free trial with full access to all features. Families that sign up through a referral link receive a 6-month free trial instead. No credit card is required to start the trial.
After the trial, a subscription is required to continue using the Service. Snug Plus is billed per family and includes all features: shared calendar, tasks and chores, projects, recurring tasks and appointments, recipes, shopping lists, family files, notes, Google Calendar sync, reminders, and more. Snug Plus includes 250 GB of family storage with a 25 GB limit per individual file.
Snug Max includes everything in Snug Plus and raises the storage limits to 2 TB of family storage with a 100 GB limit per individual file. Snug Max is also billed per family. The two plans differ only in storage; all planner features are included in both.
Prices shown above are in US dollars. If you subscribe through the Apple App Store, Apple charges the equivalent price for your country or region in your local currency, including any applicable taxes. The exact price is always shown in Apple's payment sheet before you confirm the purchase.
All subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can turn off automatic renewal at any time, as described under "Cancellation and refunds" below.
How your subscription is billed depends on where you start it:
Subscriptions are managed by the family owner. Only the family owner can start, change, or cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are billed per family, not per user. A family can have only one active subscription at a time: if a family already subscribes through one platform, it cannot start a second subscription through another, and a single App Store subscription can be linked to only one family.
If you cancel or do not subscribe after your trial ends, your data becomes read-only. Your data is preserved — we never delete data due to an expired subscription. You can subscribe at any time to regain full access.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Where you cancel depends on how you subscribed:
Upon cancellation:
For subscriptions purchased on the web or Android, we do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at [email protected] and we will review your case.
For subscriptions purchased on iPhone or iPad, refunds are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policy. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. Where the Service is made available to you immediately and you have asked us to begin at once, that right may not apply once the Service has been fully provided. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights you have under mandatory law.
Snug offers a referral program that allows family owners to earn commissions by referring new families to the Service.
This section applies only if you obtained the Snug iOS app from the Apple App Store, and it prevails over any conflicting provision elsewhere in these Terms.
We strive to keep Snug available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snug and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, missed appointments, or failed reminders. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon deletion:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. We will provide notice and an opportunity to export your data unless the violation involves illegal activity or poses a security risk.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. For material changes (such as pricing changes), we will also notify you via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Belgium.
